I am directed by Secretary Sir E. Grey to enclose copy of an intercepted letter from the Copenhagen Feather Factory to Messrs. Meurer Freres, Paris, on the subject of a proposed shipment of feathers from Hong Kong to Germany by the Bordisk Fjerfabrik and to suggest, should Mr. Secretary Bonar Law see no objection, that the Government of Hong Kong may be requested to make enquiries into the truth of this report.
